Thank you for Connecting the dots.

It's WWE--the concept of Kayfabe in practice. We know it's fake , but they weave in "truths". Then we get the apprentice where terrible people suck up to "success". He's no nonsense genius business man.

The deception, as you point out, is he's made his bones from vice and ill gotten gains w bankruptcy.

I really appreciate everything you said.

Scripture came to my mind “if He did not shorten the last days, even the elect would be deceived” we are living in the days of great deception. It was only two years ago that God began to deal with me about Trump. And that was a hard pill to swallow. It took me a month of praying before I realize the truth. That we are all being played to cause chaos, confusion, and division . You are exactly right. A leopard doesn’t change its spots!. And even if Trump had a true conversion to Christianity, there would’ve been much more evidence of that. Not the minuscule breadcrumbs that he would toss out to us once in a while. We have had a big orange carrot dangling in front of our eyes for over Eight years now! Like George Carlin said, “it’s one big club and we ain’t in it!” Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life… And anytime we place man on a pedestal it’s IDOL Worship. Only our heavenly father can fix this mess. I’m still praying for the truth to set us free!

What do you think about God calling Cyrus His messiah (Christos in Greek) in Isaiah 45?

Hi, I would have to do some research and digging into that.

I like to trace a word back as far as I possibly can to its origins, And the context in which it was used in as many places as possible. Which means getting out my Greek/ Hebrew study guides. But perhaps you are referencing that Trump has been called a type of ‘Cyrus?’

I’ve heard this a few different times. I’ve also heard him compared several times to David. All I know is at this point after being a somewhat hopeful supporter of his at the beginning… I did some deep soul-searching and realized it was a bunch of hype.

Our world has been so conditioned and programmed to take the bait. It doesn’t matter which side of the fence we are on, they have some thing that appeals to all of us don’t they? As well, they should, after studying us like rats in a lab for decades now and bombarding us with their algorithms.

I’ll take some time later, though to explore what you said about Cyrus. It’s always eye-opening to dig deeper into historical accounts in the Bible.

It's in Isaiah 45 verse 1. The question is, does God use imperfect (or even pagan) people to accomplish His will? Does recognizing someone as being chosen by God constitute worship?

Expand full comment

Yes, thank you I saw the Bible reference earlier.

Of course, God uses imperfect people every single one of us is imperfect. :-)

But we Must also have wisdom, and discernment,

especially in such dangerous and deceitful times.

The Bible says clearly that if God did not shorten these last days even the “elect” would be deceived.

And there are many references to how we can be deceived by our own hearts.

“Where your treasure is there your heart shall be also.”

What we spend the most time on is what we are worshipping.

(Not referring to having to work of course, or take care of a family)

But am I spending most of my free time on the Internet, or television,

or various websites, listening to other people speak….

Or am I spending time in the word and praying one on one to God?

Of course it’s always good to have one or two solid Christian friends that you can talk freely with.

I believe firmly that if I keep my eyes on Jesus Christ, most of all and stop listening to the voices in the world…

Is when I feel the most peace.

In my own opinion, there have been multiple, multiple red flags to Mr. T.

I tried to ignore them for a very long time…

Yet, in the long run, I realized it was because I liked his personality and his bravado.

Of course, I have values that line up with what he has been espousing. But there were too many confusing and unanswered questions. God’s ways are not muddied, confusing, or Full of shifting shadows, God is not a man that he should lie.

There is no darkness in Him.God doesn’t give us false hope. God has no deceit in him.

The more I focus on the character of God, the clearer it is to see those who Practice deceitfulness.

That’s all I’ve got to say for now. I’ll have to do the research later on Cyrus. We all have our own paths to walk with God. He is a very loving father who loves us enough to show us the truth when we sincerely ask. I’m thankful that he is so patient with us.

I'm sure God will lead each of us down the right path if we ask Him.

I appreciate your openness to thought and to challenging the status quo. No question that spiritual warfare is pummeling this planet and that we continue to run toward chaos. Yet, I can't subscribe to your theory. If true, they'd have to find or plant 12 jurors who would be in on the fix for the sake of your theory. It would require Trump deliberately fall on a sword to be defeated - this from a self-centered man who doesn't like to lose, whose mission was to take on and defeat the Obama machine given the historic insults. Also, you noted words to the effect of who cares anyway, Trump is a billionaire. Seriously - do we not see the destruction to date of this administration? Four more years of that and we will most certainly not recognize America. But I think you're totally right about Trump worship. If it were not so true, it would be funny. And you're totally right that we should love all. Love all but take a stand when needed, just as Jesus did with the Pharisees.
