My 7th great grandfather William Wirt was the prosecutor to Aaron Burr after the duel with Hamilton. William Wirt was a former Mason and the first elected for the anti masonic party. It's obvious that he was fearful on speaking out against the Masons. The party didn't last long. He was the longest to hold office of attorney General in this country.
